‘I first met yoga, the physical practice in 2007 at a course called Art of Living that included breathing, meditation and yoga. A year later I took a course to learn to become a YOGAFUNC instructor, which is a concept training based on Ashtanga yoga. I loved it and the opportunity to start teaching brought me more and more to yoga, to different workshops, practices, trainings etc. From that first moment on it’s been a part of me.
Finally my big dream of participating in the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training course became real and I finished the course in 2019. Just after that I found Carmen and her lovely studio, and rest is history :) I’m so very grateful for the opportunity to learn and teach.
Yoga has been a journey for me so far and I know it will continue to be a journey further on too. It’s been my support in hard times and my extra joy in good times. I am now starting to understand what the Art of Living course taught me through the breath, yoga and meditation – it’s being in the moment. For me yoga is life and life is yoga – just being able to feel the moment on the mat and off the mat, noticing what’s around me at that very moment and embracing it.’
